My name is Allison.
Those who know me well call me Ally.
I love. A lot.
The list of things I love is extensive but you wouldn't know who I am without knowing at least a small bit of what occupies my heart.
I have a not so secret love affair with Jesus Christ. My savior, my Papa.
Part of this space is to bring me closer to Him. I've struggled in the last few years
to find where I belong in the midst of my pain. He's been right by my side waiting patiently for me to accept what I've known all along; I wont be content until I hand over control to the only one who knows the dustiest corners of my soul and loves me all the same. I'm trying desperately to find my way Home.
Words.
I love them, especially on the pages of books.
I have tons books of all genres and I love them each to pieces.
If I had the talent I would be an author but alas, my imagination is not as vivid as I would love it to be.
Peppermint anything, but mostly tea and hot chocolate.
People.
I have a huge heart full of mostly wonderful things. A large part is dedicated to those I love, those who love me, and pretty much anyone I have ever crossed paths with.
I can't help having an emotional connection to most people. Everyone has something to teach you. Even negative interactions are a lesson. Sometimes I care far too much about people who don't care at all but I tend to believe those people are the ones who need love the most.
My family and friends fall in this category.
I have lots of people in my life I call family, many more than are actually blood.
Family is what you make of it and I wouldn't be anywhere without them.

My hobbies, projects. thoughts, & adventures.
But most importantly
My Heart.
